Saudi royal family may buy Berlusconi's £350m holiday villa

Italy’s former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi reportedly gave a tour of his luxurious Villa Certosa in Sardinia to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef of Saudi Arabia, leading to speculation that the Saudi royal family is interested in purchasing it.

The 168-acre holiday estate, which is worth around £350 million, has 68 rooms and six swimming pools. Other Bond-esque features include an artificial volcano to entertain guests and a private grotto pool with a secret underground tunnel that leads to the sea for discreet arrivals and departures.
