French beach reopens as Saudi King cuts trip short
King Salman of Saudi Arabia has left the French Riviera unexpectedly after only 8 days of what was supposed to be a three week holiday.
The royal’s trip caused controversy when a public beach was closed for his visit and an elevator was installed for easier access to the beach from his villa. It’s reported that the king boarded a flight from Nice to Morocco and now the security measures put in place for his visit in the Riviera have been lifted and the beach has reopened to the public.
