General MacArthur’s office on show in Tokyo

For a limited time, the Tokyo office used by General Douglas MacArthur is being opened to the public.

MacArthur used the office for five years from 1945 while he was supreme commander of the allied forces after WWII. The office is within an insurance company building, and has been preserved with its original furnishings. Read more: www3.nhk.or.jp
