Harbin joins China's 72-hour visa-free stay scheme

The far northeastern city of Harbin will become the latest in China to offer 72-hour visa-free stays. Harbin will be the fifteenth city in China to implement the scheme, which allows visitors from 51 countries to arrive by air without a visa as long as they have booked onward travel to a third country.

Harbin is most well-known for hosting the annual Ice & Snow Festival in winter. Visa-free entry will be available at Harbin airport from the first of August. Read more: wantchinatimes.com
