The Chinese branch of global denim brand Lee has announced it will create a new line of anti-heat jeans made out of jade.
The fabric will utilised crushed jade, known within Chinese culture for its cooling properties, to wick moisture and dry quickly. The move is seen as an attempt by the company to counter the growing popularity of cotton fabrics and garments like yoga pants in China. The ‘Jade Fusion’ line already debuted in Hong Kong in May and will be available throughout China in the next few weeks. Read more: macaudailytimes.com.mo
