Montenegro’s Lake Skadar National Park will get a luxury eco-resort, the first such project in this part of Europe.
It will be located at the mouth of the River Crnojevica and Skadarsko Lake (the largest in the Balkans and an important reserve for wetland birds), which is why studies on environmental protection had to be carried out. The resort will include hotels, restaurants, villas, a marina and a commercial centre. Construction will start in September and the project, worth 75 million euros, should be completed in 2017.
