Portugal’s primary southern airport is to get a €33m renovation to increase passenger capacity, improve immigration facilities and boost retail options for holidaymakers.
Faro Airport, which acts as a gateway to Portugal’s popular Algarve beaches, will start works this autumn and expects to complete the overhaul by March 2017, before the peak summer season.
