Elevator to French Riviera beach to be built for Saudi royals
A one kilometre stretch of public beach in the south of France at Vallauris will be closed to the public and an elevator will be built for the visiting king of Saudi Arabia, King Salman.
French authorities approved the building of an elevator to give easier access to the beach for the royals as long as everything will be removed without a trace after the visit. The beach is close to a villa owned by the royals. Locals have expressed anger at French authorities’ decision to allow the beach closure. Read more: thelocal.fr
