Temporary exhibition to explore Oslo terror attack

An installation documenting the events of the 2011 terror attack in Oslo is to open on 22 July. Anders Behring Brevik killed 77 people and injured over 300 in a dual attack on a government building and a Labour party youth camp on Utøya Island.

Local government minister, Jan Tore Sanner, said that while the exhibition would be painful for many, ‘Knowledge is our most important weapon in the fight against violence, hatred and extremism.’ The installation will remain open for at least five years, and will be based on the text of the 2012 court judgement.
