France celebrates Bastille Day with fireworks

July the 14th is the French national day commemorating the beginning of the French revolution and there are loads of events taking place across the country in celebration.

Over 3000 soldiers, 241 horses and 55 military jets will take part in the annual military parade down Paris’ Champs-Elysées, fundraising balls are held at fire stations across France and the day culminates in the annual fireworks show at the Eiffel Tower from eleven pm. Read more: thelocal.fr
