Turks and Caicos adopt new green energy sustainability plan

At the recent inaugural Summit of Overseas Countries and Territories, Turks and Caicos joined several other territories in adopting a Sustainable Energy Roadmap formulated to decrease dependence on fossil fuels.

This is not the first step towards green energy for the island nation, as last year it signed a memorandum to join the Carbon War Room’s Ten Island Challenge, an initiative also aimed at increasing support for sustainable energy production in the region.
