Monkey on the run at Memphis Zoo after enclosure escape

A three-year-old Sulawesi macaque was on the loose in Memphis Zoo on Friday after it managed to escape its enclosure by scaling the wall and getting through an opening.

The 10-pound primate ran through the zoo’s gardens just when it was packed with visitors. Zoo officials are still looking for the monkey and believe it to be hiding in a drain pipe. Read more: reuters.com
