Tanzania to use US$100 million to develop southern safari circuit
The government of Tanzania is expecting to secure a US$100 million loan to promote and develop conservation and tourism activities on the southern safari circuit.
The deputy minister for natural resources and tourism said that southern safari attractions, such as Selous Game Reserve, Ruaha National Park and Mikumi National Park, had not received the same focus as northern safari circuit, which includes the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Kilimanjaro.
