New flights launched to Zambia's Kafue National Park

Proflight Zambia has started a new service to Kafue National Park, making Zambia’s largest park more accessible visitors.

The twice-weekly service will take travellers from Lusaka to the heart of the Busanga Plains in just 95 minutes, compared with a drive that can take up to 15 hours. The park’s Lufupa and Chunga airstrips are also accessible by arrangement. Kafue covers some 22,400 square kilometres and is home to 55 species of animals, including big cats, elephants and rare birds. Read more: eturbonews.com
