Game of Thrones hires 2400 extras for more Spanish filming
The producers of hit cult TV fantasy series Game of Thrones have enlisted 2400 extras through casting auditions across Spain ahead of filming the sixth season, which is due to take place in the country in September.
Last week the TV series picked another last-minute third filming location in Spain: the provincial city of Tudela in the northern province of Navarra. This is in addition to the medieval city of Girona in Catalonia and the fortified sea port of Peñiscola in Castellon. Read more: thelocal.es
