New Western Cape Garden cycle route proposed

A new cycling route, which will stretch from Cape Town to Plettenberg Bay, has been proposed by the Western Cape economic growth strategy project. The first section should be completed in the next two years, and would link the 160km between Mossel Bay and Plettenberg Bay. The goal is to establish the Western Cape province as the trail capital of Africa, and to be the continent’s most cycle-friendly destination. The development will be driven by the Western Cape government, private-sector stakeholders and local municipalities. Read more: tourismupdate.co.za
