Canadian man arrested for flying helium balloon-powered chair over Calgary
A Canadian man was arrested after tying 120 helium-filled balloons to a lawn chair and flying over Calgary, Canada.
The man said he’d planned to skydive down to a local rodeo, but bad weather caused him to land two miles south. Calgary police arrested the man, charging him with causing danger to life and violating federal airspace regulations. The man says he concocted the stunt to gain attention to his cleaning company.
