Extreme heat in Germany ruptures Autobahn

The Transport Ministry in Germany has imposed speed limits on certain sections of the Autobahn, and cordoned off other areas, after the hot weather in the country caused some stretches of road to rupture. The German Automobile Association (ADAC) said that the area around Berlin is particularly at risk of further rupturing, and noted that the broken surfaces pose a danger to motorcyclists in particular.
