Rome's zoo animals cool off with ice lollies

The zookeepers at Rome’s Bioparco zoo have found a surprising way to help their animals cool off in Europe’s recent heatwave – specially created ice lollies.

The frozen snacks come in some unusual flavours to match the animals’ normal diets – the coatis’ lollies, for example, are made from pineapple, banana, honey, dates, egg and larvae. Tempting! Read more: thelocal.it
