Thai bid to avoid accidents with Chinese road signs
Road signs in Chinese will be installed in northern Thailand next year in a bid to lessen the number of car accidents caused by tourists travelling from China into the kingdom, especially around Chiang Mai.
The city is one of Thailand’s most popular destinations among Chinese travellers, with many visitors opting to drive in from southern China. The new signage will reportedly inform Chinese tourists about etiquette in Thailand as well as traffic law. Read more: bangkokpost.com
