Rampaging bulls kill two at Spanish midsummer celebrations

San Juan fiesta celebrations across Spain this week have led to the death of two Spaniards who were gored by rampaging bulls. The incidents – in Coria, Extremadura, and l’Ampolla, Tarragona – happened during bullfights that form part of the midsummer festival celebrations, held in honour of Saint John the Baptist. Following the death in l’Ampolla, the mayor has cancelled another bull event that was due to take place on the last day of the fiesta. Read more: thelocal.es
