LA adds another string to its public transportation bow

It might still be synonymous with cars and bad traffic, but Los Angeles has been working on its alternatives to vehicles and the latest is a bike-share scheme. Similar to those already operating in other cities around the world, the plan is to have 1100 bikes available at 65 pick-up spots around Downtown LA, including landmarks like Union Station, Pershing Square and Grand Central Market.
