Storms off the west coast of Ireland have revealed artefacts from the wreck of the Juliana, part of the famous Spanish Armada, which was sent to invade England in 1588. Several canons have been brought to the surface and will go on display in Ireland’s National Museum. The ship would have carried 32 guns and 325 soldiers and had a crew of 70, and was one of 130 vessels in the invasion force. Read more: thelocal.es
