Popular park reopens in true SF style

Most parks are opened by a local councillor cutting a ribbon to polite applause but the reopening of Dolores Park, one of San Francisco’s  most popular green spots, was celebrated in a suitably SF way with a Silent Disco yesterday. A year after it closed for renovations, visitors flocked to the park on Thursday to don wireless headphones and dance the day away without disturbing local residents.
