Iconic North Korea hotel goes up in flames

A famous hotel in the North Korean capital, Pyongyang has reportedly caught fire. The Koryo Hotel is one of the city’s oldest hotels and a favoured accommodation choice among visiting diplomats and journalists. Foreign visitors told international media that they could see flames high up in the 43-storey hotel on Thursday evening. The extent of the damage has not been confirmed. Read more: washingtonpost.com
