Autobahn closes to rescue orphaned ducklings

The German police and fire services proved they’re willing to help all of those in need when they closed the Autobahn for a short time on Friday to rescue a group of baby ducks. The ducklings had fled to the central reservation after their mother was killed near Kiel in northern Germany, but the rescue team acted quickly to shepherd them to the safety of a nearby animal shelter.
