Heatwave kills at least 600 in southern India

Unseasonably high temperatures have killed more than 600 people in southern India, most in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The heatwave has seen temperatures soar to over 46 degrees celsius, and most fatalities are from heatstroke, which has particularly affected elderly people and children.
