Russia starts building Kerch Strait bridge to Crimea
The construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait which will link Russia’s mainland with the Crimean peninsula has started, according to the ‘Simferopol’ organisation from Crimea, who posted images of construction works on Facebook. The 19km bridge will link Russia’s Krasnodar with Crimea, and its construction is expected to be completed in 2018. The works will be carried out by a company owned by the Russian businessman Arkady Rotenberg. Read more: novinite.com
