‘Fight of the Century’ to take place in Las Vegas

On Saturday two of the largest names in professional boxing will enter the ring at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for an event boxing promoters are calling the ‘Fight of the Century’. Undefeated champ Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather Jr. will face off against Manny ‘Pac-Man’ Pacquiao in Las Vegas for a fight that’s been five years in the making. The ‘Fight of the Century’ is also looking to be the most expensive; both fighters could receive $100 million apiece, and with only 500 tickets actually available to the public for sale, prices for seats far exceed face value. For those who can’t foot the bill to see the event live, the fight will be aired on Pay-Per-View services worldwide – though Mexico, Colombia, China, France, Thailand and the Philippines (Pacquiao’s homeland) will air the event for free.
