Disruption expected in Seoul for ferry protests

Downtown Seoul is likely to come to a standstill on Saturday during protests over the government’s handling of the Sewol ferry disaster last April. Protests will be held from 3pm in Gwanghwamun Plaza. Travellers visiting nearby Gyeongbokgung, the main ancient palace, could face major disruption and police have warned there could be ‘serious congestion and noise’. Read more: english.chosun.com
