The San Francisco International Film Festival, the US’ oldest, begins on the 23rd of April. The festival has been running since 1957 and takes place at venues across the city. This year’s batch of movies includes many locally made and supported films, as well as a documentary on Steve Jobs. Other events include talks by filmmakers and live stage events to complement the film programme. Read more: sffs.org
