Native American tribe to open huge casino at South Korean airport

In what will be the first Native American tribe’s international expansion, the Mohegan Tribe of Utah has announced plans to open a casino in South Korea. The complex will be located at Incheon International Airport, the country’s main international air hub, and will incorporate a 18,500-square-metre casino, as well as a 1000-room hotel, amusement park, shopping mall and film studio. A private jet terminal will also be built to accommodate high rollers. It is believed that the complex aims to compete with Macau as China’s recent crackdown on corruption and weakening economy have seen a slowdown on the island. Read more: wsj.com
