Cambodia breaks the record for world’s largest Madison dance

In Siem Reap on Wednesday, 2015 people did the Madison for five minutes, breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest ever number to perform the 1960s-era line dance in unison. The dance was organised by the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia as part of the Khmer New Year festivities. Cambodia has previously held the record for largest Madison, but lost it when 1155 danced the Madison together in Australia last year. The reclaimed record comes in the same week Cambodia was recognised for producing the world’s largest sticky-rice cake. Read more: cambodiadaily.com
