Moscow's first cafe devoted to cats opens

The first cafe devoted to cats has opened in Moscow. It’s called ‘Kotiki i Lyudi‘ (Cats and People) and is located near Tsvetnoi Bulvar metro station. It’s already so popular that bookings are taken a week in advance. Visitors can drink tea, eat snacks, read books, play board games, and they only pay for the time spent at the cafe. All cats at the Moscow cafe come from a foundation for homeless pets, and visitors can adopt one of the nine felines. Russia’s first cat cafe opened in St Petersburg four years ago and it now has 30 cats. Read more: themoscowtimes.com
