Transit passengers no longer required to pass customs in Beijing

International passengers transiting through Beijing airport will not longer have to pass through customs when making flight connections. Previously, passengers had to undergo customs formalities and checks in Beijing, even when transferring to another flight within the airport. Under the new system, passengers transiting to a third-country flight within 24 hours of their arrival will be exempt from customs formalities. Read more: traveldailymedia.com
