Budapest to get new museum park development

Budapest will get a huge new museum complex in the City Park area. The so-called Liget Budapest project, worth £190 million, is one of the biggest museum developments in Europe and will include the House of Hungarian Music, the FotoMuzeum Budapest, the Hungarian Museum of Architecture, the Museum of Ethnography and the New National Gallery and Ludwig Museum. The start of construction is planned for 2016, and the museums are expected to open in March 2018. Sustainable techniques will be used in the construction of all new buildings. Read more: dezeen.com
