China’s cutest and rarest bunny captured on camera after two decades in hiding

The extremely rare, and extremely cute Ili pika, a relative of the rabbit found only in China was photographed after more than 20 years since the last sighting. With its huge, upright ears and fuzzy nose, the pika was captured on film in the Tian Shan mountains in the northwestern Xinjiang province. As one of the world’s most endangered species, it is thought that there are only less than a thousand in existence. Read more: scientificamerican.com
