It’s 125 years since Yosemite became a national park and the celebrations officially began yesterday when a nine-year-old from Florida was made an honorary ranger. Young Gabriel and around 300 other children listened to a talk about Yosemite against a backdrop of soaring peaks and roaring waterfalls. The event was the first of around 40 taking place this year.
