Marathon runners feel the heat in Los Angeles

The 30th Los Angeles marathon took place yesterday, Sunday, with some of the almost 23,000 runners struggling in the high temperatures. A heatwave has been affecting the city and the thermometer hit 32 Celsius/90 Fahrenheit during the race, which takes competitors from Dodger Stadium to the Pacific beaches before finishing in Santa Monica.
