The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has dropped its advisory against all but essential travel to the Sofala Province of Mozambique. The warning had been in place due to armed clashes between the government’s security forces and the armed Renamo opposition party between 2013 and July 2014. However, no further clashes have occurred since the signing of a peace accord on 5 September 2014. Read more: gov.co.uk
