The South Carolina Aquarium has been involved in rescue programme for a giant, 500-pound leatherback sea turtle that was found stranded on the Yawkey-South Island Reserve on the South Carolina coast. The aquarium have been treating the animal with antibiotics, vitamin injections and fluid therapy and hope to release it back into the wild on Thursday.
