Iowa leverages history in new tourism campaign

Iowa state is looking to the past in a new bid to attract visitors to the region. A video  produced by the tourism bureau depicts the bicorne hat-wearing figure of Napoleon, experiencing all the delights of the state: riding roller coasters, kayaking and sampling local food. Napoleon then expresses regret at the 1803 Louisiana Purchase when the French leader agreed to sell the state to the US. Read more: canada.com
