Cavers find Alexander The Great-era treasure

A stash of coins and jewellery over 2,000 years old has been found in a stalactite cave in northern Israel. The discovery was made by spelunkers from the Israeli Caving Club and includes silver coins with images of Alexander the Great, who conquered the region in the fourth century BC. Last month another horde of ancient coins was found by divers off the coast of Caesarea. Read more: edition.cnn.com
