Giant rubber duck to be recycled into rocking chairs in Korea

A 20-metre-high rubber duck installed at Lotte World Mall in Seoul will soon be dismantled and recycled. Rubber from the giant duck, which was installed last year as part of an exhibition by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, will be turned into a set of public rocking chairs. According to a press release, the new exhibit will mimic wind and water conditions around the chairs to allow visitors to “feel as if they are riding the rubber duck”. Read more: koreaherald.com
