Uber car-sharing services now available in Romania

The car-sharing service Uber has arrived in Romania. The smartphone app was launched in Bucharest  at the end of February, and its starting rates are similar to those of most regular taxis in the city. Bucharest’s taxi companies and the Transporters Association, APTI, have protested against the arrival of Uber, saying there are no regulations for ride-sharing programmes. Read more: balkaninsight.com
