Queenstown car rental company’s tourist test

A car rental company in New Zealand’s Queenstown will be assessing foreign tourists with an eight question test before allowing them to hire cars in the wake of an increasing number of road incidents involving overseas drivers. The New Zealand government has other plans to reduce motor vehicle crashes including improving roads and signage, and providing non-resident drivers with better road travel information when they hire cars.
