Federal agents tackle 'maternity tourism' in California

Southern California is known for its beaches, laid-back atmosphere and attractions such as Disneyland. But for some visitors it’s become known as the place to come to give birth. Federal agents have been tackling what is known as ‘maternity tourism’ in which pregnant Chinese women fly into the state to have their baby there, making their child a US citizen. Officials say that apartments across the region are rented out and the women pay tens of thousands of dollars to deliver their babies in America. Read more: nbcnews.com
