Greece’s newly elected government has already backtracked on its decision from Wednesday to suspend the country’s professional football league indefinitely, due to continued violence at football matches. The suspension will now affect only the Super League and it will last for a week. Matches in Greek professional league were also suspended in September and November 2014. The latest decision follows the violence at a match between top rivals Olympiakos and Panathinaikos last weekend. Read more: bbc.co.uk
