Hackers get caught skipping the queue for Burning Man tickets

Tickets for Burning Man, a festival held yearly in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada in August, went on sale on Wednesday, but the first batch of tickets were quickly grabbed by hackers. Administrators for the Burning Man website said the hackers had skipped the first-come-first-serve cyber line by creating a backdoor in the ticket ordering system. Event organizers say they are aware of the problem and will cancel the hacked tickets. Last year over 65,000 people attended the event, which is known for its experimental art and expressions of self reliance. Read more: wired.com
