Cuban cigar festival expected to draw US fans

Hundreds of buyers are expected to turn up to Cuba’s annual cigar festival this week, as travellers from the US will be able to stock up on Cuban cigars for the first time in more than 50 years. The relaxation of the US trade embargo on Cuban goods means that visitors from America will be able to take back up to $100 worth of cigars. Cuba’s cigars are widely regarded as the finest in the world and brands represented at the fair include Montecristo and Romeo y Juliet. The festival runs from February 23 to 27, 2015 in Havana.
